In a challenging matchup at the Kern Center, the Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders fell to the Eastern Washington University Eagles 6-3 on Sunday. Despite the home advantage, the Raiders were unable to keep up with the Eagles’ relentless offense.
The Eagles outshot the Raiders 64 to 41, demonstrating their offensive dominance throughout the game. Their powerplay was also more successful, with 2 goals on 8 attempts, while the Raiders failed to capitalize on any of their 7 powerplay opportunities.
Raiders’ goalie Matthew Nelson faced a barrage of shots, making 58 saves on 64 attempts. Despite his efforts, the Eagles’ attack proved too much for the Raiders’ defense.
