Raiders Rout Wildcats in an 8-1 Victory at Kern Center

The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Raiders delivered a stunning performance on the ice against the Northern Michigan University Wildcats, emerging victorious with an 8-1 win. The game, held at the Kern Center, saw the Raiders demonstrating their offensive prowess with 53 shots on goal compared to the Wildcats’ 50.

Despite the Wildcats’ efforts, the Raiders’ defense was impenetrable, with goalie Benjamin Klinghofer making an impressive 49 saves out of 50 shots. On the other side of the ice, Wildcats’ goalie Nolan Welch faced a barrage of attempts from the Raiders, managing to save 39 out of 53 shots.

The Raiders’ powerplay was on point, converting 1 out of 2 opportunities, while the Wildcats managed to capitalize on only one of their four powerplay chances. The Raiders’ Zachary Petiprin was a standout player in the match, contributing with 3 assists.

The only goal for the Wildcats came from Kaleb Reynolds, but it wasn’t enough to turn the tide against the dominant Raiders. The 8-1 victory for the MSOE Raiders is a testament to their strong team play and offensive capabilities.

The Raiders will be looking to carry this momentum into their next game against the Wildcats at home in the Kern Center on Saturday, October 3rd. With their current form, the Raiders are set to deliver another exciting performance.
