With a higher shot count and a solid defensive performance, the Raiders proved their mettle in this exciting match-up.
Despite the Eagles taking 40 shots on goal, the Raiders’ defense held strong, allowing only one goal to slip past. The Raiders’ own offensive efforts were even more impressive, with a total of 48 shots on goal, three of which found their mark. Both teams had an equal number of powerplay opportunities at 6 each, with both teams scoring once during these high-pressure moments.
The Raiders’ goalie, Michael Poulik, was a standout performer of the night. Facing 40 shots, Poulik made an impressive 39 saves, effectively shutting down the Eagles’ offense.
